My pursuit to become a Technical Product Manager stems from my experiences and academics. In my senior years of high school, I led a group of 40+ students as the president and founder of a rookie FIRST Robotics Team (FRC 6632). Through this experience and my academic interests in physics, mathematics and computer science, I decided to pursue Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Through my internships I found my passion for building solutions and products in software.
In my cumulative 3 years of employment in software development, I have proven to be an innovative leader. I am recognized for creatively architecting and launching Lifion's Unified Messaging System to scale user notifications and significantly improve client sentiment scores.
In my most recent position as a Technical Product Manager, I leveraged my technical expertise to lead high-quality product development for Lifion Git and the Unified Messaging System teams. During my past internships, I acquired a diverse set of skills and experiences. In my third work term, I developed an iOS application using Swift in XCode. In my second work term, I created multiple applications, employing OpenCV, Tesseract OCR, Selenium, and predominantly working with C# and Python. In my first work term, I designed and implemented several web-based ticketing systems using HTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and PowerShell.
